If something in your life no longer feels like it fits, therapy can be a place to gently explore what does. Hello! Thanks for being here. I am Alex, a queer and neurodivergent therapist. I bring warmth, curiosity, and authenticity to therapy. My work is rooted in liberation psychology, which considers the impact of oppressive social systems on mental well-being and provides tools for liberation through connection to self, communities, and environment. My approach is mindfulness-based, person-centered, and deeply collaborative. I’m known for being attentive and direct, while maintaining a kind, non-pathologizing, and nonjudgmental presence. Together, we’ll explore patterns that may no longer serve your interests, we’ll deepen your self-understanding, and rebuild trust in your own wisdom.

I enjoy working with individuals and groups navigating transitions, identity shifts, expectations that no longer fit, and other major life changes that call for courage and self-discovery.

In our work, I aim to help you deconstruct old narratives, clarify your values, and live more fully in alignment with them. Therapy with me offers a space to feel seen, supported, and safe to bring your full self. There is room for you here I hope you can learn to accept and love the way you uniquely take up space. I believe each of our stories are threads that add depth and color to the complex and beautiful tapestry of modern life. Your thread belongs just as much as others and deserves to be seen!

The process of finding a therapist can be an ordeal so I hope to lessen the stress by offering a 20-minute consultation free of charge with my Supervisor, Brionna Murray, so we can see if we would be a good fit for therapy.
