About Brionna

Brionna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with nearly a decade of experience supporting adults and couples through deep healing and transformation. She recieved her Bachelor's in Psychology from Temple University and her Master's in Social Work at the University of Denver. Brionna is the program director and director of social work at Virya Counseling Center.

Her approach is rooted in attachment theory and interpersonal neurobiology. She integrates EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, and psychedelic-assisted therapy into her work. She is especially passionate about trauma healing, helping clients safely explore their stories, rewire old patterns, and move toward freedom in both body and mind. Brionna believes deeply in the brain’s capacity to change—that with the right support, presence, and connection, old wounds can be transformed, and new pathways can be created. She holds space with compassion, clarity, and accountability—offering a place where clients can feel deeply seen.

In addition to her clinical work, Brionna is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of therapists. She leads the practice’s internship program with the same care she brings to her clients—believing that therapists need safe, supportive relationships to do their best work. Brionna sees training as a collaborative and sacred process, offering interns a place to reflect, grow, make mistakes, and discover the kind of therapist they’re becoming. She is passionate about creating a learning environment that is both structured and spacious, where future clinicians are held in their own unfolding.

Brionna is honored to hold space for those on the path of becoming—offering a grounded, soulful presence where growth unfolds through connection, reflection, and trust. She believes in the quiet power of being witnessed, and in the profound transformation that becomes possible when we are met with care.
